PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This new construction project consisted of an industrial facility designed for manufacturing carbon fiber. The owner sought a cost effective cooling method to offset the heat generated by the large ovens baking the carbon fiber. To meet this cooling requirement, CMS Inland NW provided Custom Innovent AHUs with evaporative cooling media, which take advantage of the relatively low design wet bulb temperatures. Custom Innovent-packaged DX units with MERV 17 final filters were also provided to pressurize the MCC rooms, which kept the minute carbon fibers out of the environment.
